Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden

Adam and Eve is one of the most popular stories of the church,but also one of the most misunderstood books of the bible. There are so many mysteries embedded in this story that it is very hard to explain in one article alone,but I will do my best to revealsome hidden truths to you. You might find that going back to these actual events may well keep you intrigue for a while. Its amazing to me how easy it is for some people to scan through the story of Adam and Eve so quickly without asking God for understanding of the truths it carries. We all know the story, where Adam and Eve eat of the forbidden apple(even though the bible didn't give a specific fruit) and by eating came the fall of mankind. But let us take a closer look at this story and see what God is showing mankind. We will start with Adam who was made in the image and likeness of God. Adam was in a state of perfection and glory, God had given him dominion over every creature on the earth. Yet Adam was alone, so God said it is not good for man to be alone(al-one). God decided to make Adam an help meet, so God put Adam into a deep sleep and took the rib out of his side and created the woman. Now there are some hidden truth behind this event, and you will soon see that everything is planned and not random of events. Why did Adams rib taken out of his side? I will remind you of the time when Jesus was on the cross, and they pierced his side with a spear. Blood and water came out of his side. Notice that blood and water come out of a woman during child birth. So as the woman was born out of the side of Adam,so was the church born out of the side of Jesus Christ . After the fall of man you must look very closely at what took place here, you will see the prophetic utterance that went forth. Adam and Eve hid themselves because their eyes were open and they knew that they were naked. And they made themselves aprons of fig leaves to cover their nakedness. Then God came in the cool of the day and called out to Adam, Adam answered and said that he and his wife hid themselves because they were naked. God asked them who told you that you were naked? God asked have you eaten of the forbidden fruit that I commanded of you not to eat? Adam said yes,(and you will read as the man and the woman,and the serpent was punished). But notice what God did afterwards. He made them aprons of coats of skin to replace the aprons of fig leaves. This is very significant because in order for there to be a forgiveness and remission of sin there must first be a shedding of blood. And this is what God was showing us in Gen.3rd Chapter. Man tried to cover themselves with fig leaves,which resembles false religion,wealth,rules and traditions of men. Man will try to cover themselves with positions and tittles in the church,but the only thing that will cover our nakedness is the blood of Jesus.
